Algonquin Park July 2003
Algonquin Park 2003 Lake of Two Rivers.
This year our long two week trip began in Lake of Two Rivers. We had visited this park last year for a long weekend and wanted to return. We once again rented the canoe and visited the 'falls'. The weather was good to us and the bugs are starting to go away during the heat of the days. The park has a lot to do and requires several visits to do it all. We walked a couple of the trails and visited the logging museum this trip.

Park Entrance
main gate to Lake of Two Rivers campground. We were indeed lucky and the park was not overfilled for the week we were there.

Chipmunks
The girls really enjoyed feeding the chipmunks who became friendly enough to eat from their hands while sitting on their laps by the end of the week. |

What a view!
The scenery in the park is breath taking in places. This photo was taken not far from the entrance to the park along highway 60. |

The Falls
One of our favourite spots in the park is the falls. This is a 40 minute canoe ride from Lake of Two Rivers or a 20 minute hike from the Mew Lake trail. |
